I care what people think, equally, I care about someone&#8217;s perception of me. We say all we want that we shouldn&#8217;t give a hoot about how people view us&#8230;<br>BUUUUUT<br>We need to be liked to have a successful business &#8211; you can have theee most amazing products, but you need to be liked in order to get your stuff sold because if you are disliked, people will avoid you like the plague<br>If you are say in the job market &#8211; the HR person or the hiring manager needs to like you, or else &#8211; yep, you&#8217;ve guessed it, you wont get that job<br>You need to be liked by your friends and family so that you can feel a sense of belonging here in this messed-up place &#8211; unless of course you are super self-absorbed and you don&#8217;t care who likes you<br><br>Then again, this scripture isn&#8217;t for everyone<br><br>I hope that this makes it to the intended recipients who actually resonates with what is being said here<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I can&#8217;t pretend not to care what anyone thinks.
